REUNION SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Dear classmates of 1974,
As we plan for our 50th reunion, we have many ideas for activities and we are striving to keep our costs as reasonable as possible.
With that in mind, some of you have asked how you may be involved in some way. We would welcome any financial help to achieve our goals in administrative tasks as well as ideas to enhance the reunion experience. You can even sponsor a specific event or item.
If you are interested in donating to the cause, we would use your support to defer our expenses in such ways as:
- Administrative expenses: printer ink, postage, paper, meeting space, decorations
- Main Event expenses: Name tags, Photography or photo booth, Rebel favors (ex. Coasters, lanyards, mugs, glasses, etc.)
- Drink tickets for different events: Main Event, Happy Hour, coffee hours
- Golf (ball, towel or small gift of tees for every player)
- Pickleball Tournament (t-shirts, fun memorabilia or winner prizes)
- Sponsor an event (Coffee Meet Ups or sport events)
Contact us at [email protected] with donation inquiries.

Today's Featured Biography
Sue Plohr Slosar
After attending two years of Cosmetology, I obtained my license and maintained it for seven years. I worked as a hairdresser at Willoughby Hair Salon next to the library for a year. After a year of struggling to build a clientele, I went to Lakeland Community College for Medical Terminology. From that point, I had a very successful and rewarding medical career for the next 43 years. Places I have worked were Lutheran Medical Center, Hillcrest Hospital, Lake West and UH Seidman Cancer Center in Mentor, which I retired from 5 years ago.
I am enjoying more time traveling and being with my family, which includes my husband Ron Slosar of 43 years (still working for the city of Willoughby), 5 children, (1 set of twin girls), 9 grandchildren (1 set of girl/boy twins) and 1 great granddaughter. Despite losing one of our twin daughters to addiction (both graduates of Willoughby South High School) we have been extremely blessed with the life we have made. I have kept busy with the grandchildren and volunteer for Friends of Recovery-Willoughby Christian based recovery homes for those recovering from addiction. I am a Willoughby lifer and reside in Ridge Acres.
